Float away with Dreambook’s “Ghosts,” see them at Kung Fu Necktie on 10/18

Next Friday, October 18th Kung Fu Necktie will host the dreamy, fuzz-bass sensation Dreambook, an emerging local crew who made a spash on the scene this summer performing with bands like Creepoid and Palma Violets. Droning, distorted guitars and fuzzed out bass are the major markers of the band, with vocals that float overhead, sometimes even sounding Morrissey-esque. The long, drawn out guitar lines are intoxicating, and it’s quite impossible not to be hooked.
