Power-pop heroes Saves The Day will bring their holiday cheer to First Unitarian Church in December. The band recently announced an acoustic holiday tour which ends in Philly just days before Christmas. Their self-titled follow up to 2011’s Daybreak was released last month via Equal Vision Records and was fondly described by Chris Conley (vocalist/guitarist) as “a love letter about living in the modern world and trying to remember the simple connection that we all share and will pull us through the hard times” in a recent interview with The Aquarian Weekly. Pre-sale tickets to the show are available here. Below, watch the band cover “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” in 2011.
