Philly garage rock crew The Love Club – the rotating-lineup project of songwriter Mitch Esparza – is releasing its new album, Pearls Dissolve In Vinegar, this week with a party tomorrow night at PhilaMOCA. Esparza’s songwriting pulls from blues, folk and experimental rock on any given release, and The Love Club is his outlet where he runs it through an amp and cranks it all the way. A couple days ago, it teased the new record with a song called “New Face,” a fast and fuzzy three-minute jam.
