Sam Roberts Band releasing new album, playing World Cafe Live 2/21

Montreal rockers Sam Roberts Band are releasing a new album, Lo-Fantasy, on February 11th on Paper Bag Records. Lo-Fantasy is Roberts’ first album is almost three years and he worked with producer Youth (Martin Glover) whose production credits include The Verve, Crowded House, Paul McCartney, The Orb, and others. Roberts is a Canadian rock and roll hero who has won numerous Juno awards for his steady arena-rock ready songs. Sadly, Roberts hasn’t yet gained a significant following in the States.
