Creepoid will celebrate the release of new self-titled album at Johnny Brenda’s on 2/27
Philly psych-punk four-piece Creepoid this weekend gave the first hint about when we can expect their long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s colossally good Horse Heaven LP. The record release show for the self-titled Creepoid – which will be out on No Idea Records in March – takes place Thursday, February 27, at Johnny Brenda’s. Opening the gig are goth crew Far-Out Fangtooth and psych / trance band Ecstatic Vision; tickets are available here. While not much is known just yet about the album itself or what kind of Creepoid it might contain – this is a band that can work heavy and aggressive as effectively as spacey and serene – maybe their most recent single, 2011’s “Golden String,” might give a clue.
