The Hold Steady announce details of new label and new LP (playing a sold-out benefit concert at The ABC Brewery in Harrisburg on 2/7)
Today brought two pieces of news coming out of The Hold Steady camp. The Brooklyn-based indie rockers have signed with a new imprint of Razor & Tie called Washington Square, through which they will release their sixth studio record Teeth Dreams in March. The new LP comes in tandem with a tour of the east coast and coincides with the Craig Finn-led outfit’s tenth anniversary. This milestone will be acknowledged with a show at Harrisburg, PA’s The Appalachian Brewing Company on February 7th, which will also benefit the K+L Guardian Foundation to honor Central PA concert promoter, music advocate and Hold Steady fan Mike “Jersey Mike” Van Jura. The show is already sold out, but a benefit covers EP called RAGS will be released shortly so all fans will have an opportunity to donate to the foundation. Check out a promo video for the EP and benefit efforts below.
