Philly’s sultry, retro-futuristic Marian Hill will play its first ever show next month
Next month, Philly duo Marian Hill will play its first show (ever) at Boot and Saddle on February 25th, in advance of a March 4th release of its debut EP. The duo of Samantha Gongol (vocals) and Jeremy Lloyd (producer) breathes new life into a retro sound. Gongol lays down sultry, jazz-inspired vocals over Lloyd’s minimal-but-potent urban beats, resulting in electro-R&B that’s alluring and hypnotic. Watch “Lovit” and listen to “Whisky” and the new “One Time” below. Tickets for the show (featuring a live saxophonist) are available here.
