Find out what’s behind the mask in E. Grizzly’s new music video for “Moore”
Philadelphia hip-hop artist E. Grizzly has released a new music video for his track “Moore.” The local rapper and Radio Ghost member went up to Brooklyn to film the clip, pulling in clothing and lifestyle brand RA-NYC to take over the art direction and editing. Following the summer’s video for “Waterwheel²,” “Moore” shows E. Grizzly laying his raps down next to elevated train lines as a narrative plays out between a masked man and woman in the streets of Brooklyn. The lyrics’ underlying sentiment is the liberation and happiness that can come from taking off the proverbial mask and getting close to other people, whether the mask is make-up, adopted social identities or, in the case of the video’s narrative segments, ski masks.
E. Grizzly will perform at The Fire on February 13th for the Northern Liberties Winter Music Festival. Tickets and information for the 21+ event can be found here.
