Wish Southwork well on their SXSW travels at Boot and Saddle next weekend

Local indie rock / pop outfit Southwork hits the road at the end of the month for a tour that takes them to SXSW in Austin, TX and you can help send them off at Boot & Saddle on February 15th.  The seven-piece band (complete with a horn section) released their debut LP Arise at the end of 2012 and quickly followed it up with a four-song EP called Seasons Passing.  Though the heart of Southwork is anchored in fun and upbeat pop / rock melodies, the addition of glam rock drama and quirky instruments leads to more interesting recordings that reveal new surprises with each listen.  Tickets and information for the 21+ show with Killer Bands and S.T.O.P. can be found here.  Watch Southwork’s video for “My Demise” below.
