Ginger Coyle kicks off Philly Local First Wednesday series today at The Porch at 30th
Singer-songwriter Ginger Coyle will be kicking off our XPN Philly Local First Wednesdays at The Porch series. She performs live and outdoors today from noon to 1 p.m.
We were invited by the University City District to showcase some of our Philly Local artists at The Porch. It’s at 30th & Market Streets in Philadelphia – outside 30th Street Station. They have gourmet food trucks at The Porch, and on the First Wednesdays of the month you can hear some great music.
Ginger Coyle is a singer/songwriter from South Jersey and we’ve been playing songs on XPN from her recent CD Homeward Bound. Ginger performed last summer at the Philly Folk Festival as part of the XPN Philly Local Showcase. She is currently working on her next album and has also been making guest appearances on other music projects, including a collaboration with American Babies.
Recently Ginger and her band recorded a Key Studio Session. She is bringing the band that did the session to her performance at The Porch. Check out Ginger Coyle on keyboards, Ken Pendergast on bass, Ross Bellenoit on guitar and Charlie Patierno on drums performing “Let It Burn” below.
Coming up Wednesday May 7th, Phil D’Agostino will be at The Porch from noon to 1 p.m.
