Lansdale rockers The Sixties will release There It Isn’t this month
You may remember back when we posted about Lansdale’s The Sixties releasing two songs, “Jean Jacket” and “Forgetting Yesterday” from their upcoming debut album. Well guess what? We now know what that album will be called and when it will be released. As we learned yesterday on Property of Zack, There It Isn’t will be released Tuesday June 17th on Get This Right Records. If “Jean Jacket” and “Forgetting Yesterday” are any indication, the album should be packed with short and punchy pop/punk songs with a modern rock flair that will totally get stuck in your head. So far, both songs feature spectacular drumming from Chris Mehr and fantastic raunchy rock and roll vocals from singer/guitarist CJ Morgan.
To celebrate the new album, The Sixties will be playing an album release show at the Lansdale VFW on Saturday, June 21st along with Merit, Chronic Wolf, House Of Cards, and The Mahlors. Information for said show can be found here. Listen to “Forgetting Yesterday” here.
