Governor’s Ball Day Two: The Strokes, Jack White, RJD2, Spoon, and more

Yesterday we took our places in the crowd at New York’s Randall’s Island for day two of Governor’s Ball, catching everything from garage punk to hip-hop, electronic music and bluesy rock and roll.

Independent hip hop artist, Chance the Rapper played to a HUGE crowd of fans and fanatics alike, singing along the lyrics to his Acid Rap album and screaming their love for the Chicago based rapper.

English electronic duo Disclosure had just played at Union Transfer the evening before and they brought their fierce energy and danceable tunes to an amped up audience.

Everyone was super pumped once The Strokes finally came on stage and they wasted no time at all, going right into “Barely Legal” from their 2001 album, Is This It.
