NYC Taper heads to Hopscotch, tapes Philly bands The War On Drugs, Spacin’ and more

NYC Taper trekked down I95 to Raleigh, North Carolina’s Hopscotch Music Festival a couple of weeks ago, catching sets by some local favorites during the multi-venue, three-day event.

True to NYC Taper’s creed, the contributors’ high-quality recordings of The War On Drugs, Spacin’ and Purling Hiss and Daniel Bachman are now available to download for free.  Special note: Purling Hiss’ performance of “Almost Washed My Hair” included an appearance by Philly harpist Mary Lattimore and guitarist Steve Gunn.  Check out some tracks below and get the downloads here.
