Beano shows he’s ready for the spotlight on “Let It Go”
This week, Philly’s own Beano just released his firstofficial single, “Let It Go,” produced by Dilemma. If you’ve been following Beano’s career then you know that the man can sing. Just by listening to all of his collaborations with Chill Moody, you can see how strong his raw talent is. Sometimes it seems as if the crooner just takes over any song that he’s featured on, but there’s always been a curiosity of how he would do on his own two feet.
With “Let It Go,” Beano shows us that he’s ready for the spotlight, and also that he wants to entertain the crowd with more than just love ballads. Listening to the single, you can see that the R&B singer is heavily influenced by hip hop, similar to Grammy Award nominee Mack Wilds’ single “Henny.” The beat and samples – L.L. Cool J and Stevie Wonder – are attention-grabbing, and “Let It Go” will definitely be a song that will have all of Beano’s fans, old and new, bopping and rocking out. Listen to the track below.
