On Sunday night, Cleveland indie punk band Cloud Nothings played an intimate show at Union Transfer. The band is on tour in support of its latest album (and breakout success), Here and Nowhere Else. The band had great energy as they played one uptempo lo-fi jam after another; fans spent the entire set dancing around and singing along word for word. For this show the band brought with them Detroit punks Tyevk and Philadelphia’s Amanda X. Tyevk was by far the most hard hitting band on the bill; their songs were short, aggressive and grungey. Amanda X performed cuts from their recently-released, Amnesia, which is awesome and definitely worth checking out. Check out photos from the show in the gallery below.
