Riva Ridge gets emotional on the new “Lost Time”

Local Philadelphia pop group Riva Ridge has released another song following their debut “Slide,” which we featured here on The Key earlier this fall. Where that song leaned more synth-driven, “Lost Time” takes an acoustic pop approach with moving backbeats, deep synths, Mel Ridge’s enticing vocals, even featuring a short guitar solo. It showcases Riva Ridge’s ability to produce layered, emotive music that can stand on it’s own. They briefly explained to us that this song was inspired by the lull after love: “‘Lost Time’ is about breakups, relationships and the time spent in between,” Ridge told us over email.
