Download Work Drugs’ new holiday single “Nicholas” to give your Christmas a synth-filled soundtrack
Philly electropop group Work Drugs released a new track for this holiday season called “Nicholas.” Utilizing waves of synthesizers and drifting vocals in the usual Work Drugs fashion, it keeps classic with drums accented with jingle jangle tambourines and sleigh bells. The song is an upbeat reminder of the important things and surely a nice break from the usual Christmas tunes that are repeated incessantly throughout December. “Nicholas” pushes good vibes by chiding a meaningful thought to keep in mind throughout our holiday season: “It took a holiday to help me remember, it took a holiday to notice love’s forever.”
Check out their new track below. You can catch Work Drugs this Friday for a holiday show at Boot and Saddle. For more information, head over to the XPN Concert Calendar.
