Free at Noon Flashback: Guster performs new and old songs to a sold-out crowd
World Cafe Live hosted legendary modern rock band Guster this afternoon for a Free at Noon performance. The set featured songs from a variety of albums, including old hits like “Satellite” and new jams like “Simple Machine.” The band’s catalog, which spans over 20 years, drew a crowd from a variety of ages, all of which were singing and clapping along. Notably, band members Ryan Miller, Adam Gardner and Luke Reynolds showed off their musicianship by playing a variety of instruments throughout the set, including the guitar, bass, xylophone, tambourine, and keyboards.
Guster plays in Philadelphia next on April 24th at the TLA with Kishi Bashi, but because that show sold ridiculously quick, they added a second show, also with Kishi Bashi, at the Union Transfer April 25. Tickets for the Union Transfer show can be found here. Below, listen to the Free at Noon concert in its entirety, check out the setlist and see a gallery of photos.
