The collaboration of Philly rappers Dewey Decibel and Zilla Rocca is the sound of transforming psychedelic poetry. The beat-thumping duo dropped their collaborative EP, A Different Drum, on Jan. 26 through World Around Records. Decibel and Rocca’s rap game is serious, but they still aren’t afraid to have fun with tracks like “Cappuccino,” in which they throw some poetic justice to caffeine.

With “Better than your top forty and the majority,” his parallel lyric structure fires into “order me a dark and stormy,” which is a nice shout out to the name of the track itself. Zilla Rocca’s produces some tasty drum and bass on the track paired with a piano piece that resonates well along side Decibel’s verses. Decibel and Rocca released a video for the track, which opens with a high-definition portrait of roasting espresso beans that gets any caffeine-addict reaching for their mug. Decibel is featured rapping throughout, ranging from a Philly apartment step to dressed in an Illuminati cap and the American flag. Check out the video below.
