RECPhilly is making moves for the Philly music scene as they continue to promote and curate musical events in support of the industry here, leading up to the launch of their locally-focued Recollective Records.
Following up last month’s SXSW Philly showcase, RECPhilly has just kicked off their “30 for 30” event series, an initiative that will feature an event every day during the month of April. The events will range from live music, music industry panels, award shows and showcases to generate conversation between artists, fans and industry professionals in Philly’s music scene. The event will shine light on the many musicians and music venues around the city that make our music scene possible and give artists an opportunity to showcase their talents at local and unique venues in Philadelphia.
Tonight’s event is a singer/songwriter showcase headed by local music project Ronbomb and will feature artists Jeffrey Weathers, Keely Sibilia, Jacqueline Constance, and Joe Helb. For more information, check out the Facebook event page.
So get out there and support the local music scene, as RECPhilly has given us ample opportunity to find something to make it out to this month. See the full list of events by heading over to RECPhilly’s site here.
