Philly rapper Chill Moody announces launch of record label
Philly rapper Chill Moody has announced the launch of his own digital distribution record label, nicethingsMUSIC. The rapper released a full statement on his Tumblr today in which he explained his vision.
The plan is simple: provide a platform for talented artist to get the notoriety they deserve. STARTING WITH THE GREAT CITY OF PHILADELPHIA. This is not a “HipHop/Rap” genre specific label, this is a “great music” label. Expect nicethings (of course).
The label marks a partnership between the rapper and NY-based record label Soulspazm.
TV Made Me Do It, the upcoming collaborative album between Chill Moody and producer Wes Manchild, will be the first release from nicethingsMUSIC. Before its release on May 5, catch the album for pre-order here. Listen to/download “November Funk,” the first single the duo released from the upcoming album below.
