Loose Tooth charm with their charged debut album Easy Easy East
Philly’s Loose Tooth have been on our radar after working in cahoots with a number of local artists – The Fleeting Ends, Mumblr, and Clique just to name a few – while putting out their catchy indie rock music. Now there is even more to love with the release of their debut full-length Easy Easy East off their label Fleeting Youth Records. The album is full of that noisy, bedroom rock that we got a taste of with “Skinny Chewy” earlier this month.
Easy Easy Easy has a solid mix of emotion: an ebb-and-flow between thrashey, excited anthems like “Pickwick Average” and “Sunk Chubi”, slightly frayed lyricless slow-burners like “Greetings From” and “Through A Hazy B”, and a crossover between the two emotions in distantly present songs like “Yorami”, “Bone Folder” and closer track “About Ruined Everything”. The album gives us a full scope of what Loose Tooth is putting out there, keeping us anxious for what lies ahead.
Check out the new album in full below and be sure to catch these guys at Mantua Fest Day Three at The Baker Bowl on May 2nd. Head over to the Facebook event page for more information.
