Curly Castro, member of the Philly hip hop collective The Wrecking Crew, released his latest solo EP that blends soulful elements with hard-hitting bass bangers.  Although it is deemed a solo project from Castro, many members of the Crew were present to offer a quick 16 bars or two. Dewey Decibel and a few other lent their hand to the twelve track project, as well as production from Fakts One.

Noteable tracks like “Emmett Still” paint pictures of the street life while others like “Rammellzeed” are so funky and infectious you’ll have to play it back twice.  90’s in feel, the bulk of the instrumentals cater more too the golden age of hip hop then the modern beats we’re used to hearing on the radio.
