Watch The Districts play an acoustic song on a tour bus
Our beloved boys in The Districts have taken their small-town alternative folk charm on the road, and they recently stopped by the Hangout Festival in Alabama.
Robby from the band performed an acoustic version of “Bold” in the John Lennon Bus. The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is a non-profit mobile recording studio whose mission is to inspire students to create, using the latest software and technologies.
Robby’s lovely, haunting voice breathed new life into this stripped-down tune, perfect for rainy days back in Philly.
Before they embark on their European tour, they’re playing a few more shows in the states – including one at PhilaMOCA this weekend that’s now sold out. We’re sure we’ll see more of the guys soon enough though.
