Watch Girlpool’s tantalizing new video for “Magnifying Glass”
Got a minute? Girlpool just released a new video for a cut off their debut album Before the World Was Big. The track in question, “Magnifying Glass”, is a 40 second rush of in your face flowery (literally) pop punk and the aesthetic of the video doubles down on the fun.
The Los Angeles-formed, Philly-based duo just released their debut at the beginning of June to critical praise. They’re playing the First Unitarian Church on July 26th with Sheer Mag and Pile as part of this year’s OK Fest. You can get tickets to that show here. They will be performing in Philly again a few weeks later in case you can’t catch them, this time at Everybody Hits on August 14th. Haven’t heard Girlpool yet? You can start out by checking out their Key Studio Session, or watching the video for “Magnifying Glass” below.
