Beyonce, The Weeknd, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie top Made In America 2015
The fourth installment of Jay-Z’s Made In America festival was announced, and it’s topped by Beyonce‘s return to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway – her 2013 appearance came just ahead of her smashing surprise self-titled LP – as well as The Weeknd – who totally destroyed at this summer’s Roots Picnic.
Repping the indie rock world are Death Cab for Cutie – their new record Kintsugi is a total winner – and Modest Mouse – who had a return to form this year with Strangers to Ourselves – as well as Banks and Metric.
Repping Philly are quite a few people, actually, not the least of which is Meek Mill, whose Dreams Worth More Than Money drops next week. Also in the mix are Hop Along, Strand of Oaks, Creepoid, Waxahatchee, Marian Hill and Superheaven.
The festival takes place September 5th and 6th on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. See the full lineup here. Tickets go on pre-sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow via the festival website. Below, check out a roundup of videos by some of the performers.
