Hear Dave Hause cover Joe Strummer’s “Coma Girl” on WXPN’s Copy That with Dan Reed

Before rocking Union Transfer on Wednesday night (see photos here), Philly-born punk rocker Dave Hause joined Dan Reed on the air on WXPN for his Copy That segment. Backed by his brother Tim, Dave covered Joe Strummer’s “Coma Girl” – a song from 2003’s Streetcore, his final album with The Mescaleros. Hause touched on the influence songwriters such as Strummer have had on him, what it’s like moving away from Philly, how his shows change when he doesn’t have a full band behind him, and more. Hause is currently still on a nationwide tour in support of his sophomore solo release, Devour. Check out the full interview along with the cover below.
