Conrad Sewell, Nik Greeley and more to play Communion Philly in September
Communion Philly is back from its summer hiatus and announced the lineup for their September 10th showcase at MilkBoy. The show will feature music from up-and-coming national acts Conrad Sewell, Freedom Fry, and The Franklin Electric, plus local favorites Nik Greeley & the Operators.
After writing and providing vocals for Kygo’s smash hit “Firestone,” Australian rocker Conrad Sewell has become an overnight sensation. He has released two singles in anticipation of the drop of his debut album, including the punchy anthemic “Hold Me Up.” The French/American duo of Freedom Fry already have a litany of hits under their belt too, and after being named on Spotify’s “100 Emerging Artists From SXSW”, they spent the spring touring with Belgian sensation Stromae. The Franklin Electric are a folk band much in the same vein as Fleet Foxes and others touring on the heels of their impressive debut This Is How I Let You Down. And Nik Greeley recently visited our studio to lay down a Key Session.
