Listen to Beach Slang’s new “Bad Art & Weirdo Ideas”
Throughout their brief existence, Beach Slang has sat in the realm of pop-punk teen angst but with a rare hint of a vintage 50s undertone, a unique angle to their sound. Partly because the song titles and EP covers have an obscure elegance to them, Beach Slang has carved their way onto the bright side of the Philly alternative scene.
“Bad Art & Weirdo Ideas” is the group’s latest single, and the first song we’ve heard from their debut full-length The Things We Do To Find People Who Feel Like Us. Righteously powerful in its message and sound, this song seems to pick up right where Who Would Ever Want Anything So Broken left off. Listen below and catch Beach Slang at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster this October; more info can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
