On October 10, Ohio folk band Saintseneca will headline a show at Johnny Brenda’s. They’ll be supported by power pop band The Sidekicks and the lo-fi work of Saintseneca frontwoman Maryn Jones (under the name Yowler).

Formed in 2007 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Zac Little, Saintseneca is a folk collective known for their diverse instrumentation in their recordings and live performances. While the band uses contemporary electric instruments, they also incorporate balalaika, mandolin, dulcimer, Turkish Baglama, and floor percussion. They’ve released two studio albums – 2011’s Last and 2014’s Dark Arc – and have their third album on the way this fall.

Doors are at 8 p.m. Tickets are $12 and can be bought here. This show is 21+.
