Can’t get enough of acclaimed director David Lynch’s work? You should attend PhilaMOCA’s annual ERASERHOOD FOREVER celebration of all things David Lynch. Yes, it’s a thing. Yes, it’s awesome.

And what better way to celebrate than with the one, the only Laurel “Lady in the Radiator” Near from ERASERHEAD? The Lady will perform the classic and often-covered song “In Heaven” from the movie, backed by Philly’s own Divine Hand Ensemble. No lip-syncing like in the film – she will actually sing it, and that’s way more fun!

Here’s the full lineup:

The Divine Hand Ensemble

with special guest Laurel “The Lady in the Radiator” Near

Local chamber orchestra the Divine Hand Ensemble is not your ordinary orchestra. Led by renowned theremin artist Mano Divina, they perform a diverse selection of classical music, modern pop favorites, and original compositions. This year, they will make stops at The Franklin Institute’s Planetarium, Bethlehem’s Musikfest, and even a special performance for the Pope when he visits Philadelphia before ERASERHOOD.

Northern Arms

A ten-piece band led by singer-songwriter Keith Richard Peirce, Northern Arms incorporates dark imagery with folk, gospel, and gothic Americana.

a place both wonderful and strange

Brooklyn-based Occult Electronic Music Performance Art group “a place both wonderful and strange” will perform “Keys Open Doors: The Hidden Life of Laura Palmer”. They performed this at PhilaMOCA last year, but have reworked the piece into a touring version. Noise, dance music, video and movement tell the murder of  Laura Palmer, a central figure in Lynch’s beloved TV series Twin Peaks.

There will also be Lynch-themed burlesque from Philly’s own Liberty Rose with special guest magician Francis Menotti, and Lynch-themed DJ sets from @ThatsOurWaldo (Welcome to Twin Peaks)! The festival will be hosted by Ben Velvet (local comedian Paul Triggiani).
