Summer may be fading and fall may be right around the corner, but don’t tell that to indie-pop band Hippo Campus ,or the full crowd who got a chance to catch their show at today’s Free at Noon. The Minnesota-based group brought their immediately catchy sound which effortlessly energized a crowd ready to get their Labor Day weekends started.

The band got the going early on with “Suicide Saturday,” imploring the crowd to clap along with the Vampire Weekend-esque track that developed into a song both airy and distinctively lively. They continued this style until the very end, finishing the set off with “Little Grace,” one of the singles off of the band’s Bashful Creatures EP which came out in November of 2014.

Hippo Campus hope to bring the same kind of energy to the Made In America festival this weekend where they will play the Tidal Stage on Sunday at 5:15 p.m. Check out a gallery from the show and setlist below, and listen to an archive of Hippo Campus’ set in full.
