Travel Lanes, a power pop four-piece from Philadelphia, just released a music video for “100th I Told You” – the first single off of their latest record, Let’s Begin To Start Again, which came out in July. The video for “100th I Told You” is Travel Lanes’ first, and the enthusiasm for it shows. It features a fresh blend of live action footage and animation that has been “diced, sliced, and doodled by Erik Horvitz,” according to video’s end credits. The song’s playful pop feeling contrasts comically with its theme of ending a relationship, with lyrics like “another three-leaf clover / Time to say it’s over / Chip upon your shoulder / The 100th I told ya.” The bobble-headed band members in the video enhance the comedy even further, while the playful and childlike doodles, scribbles, and animation highlight that  juxtaposition. Watch Travel Lanes’ music video for “100th I Told You” below, and catch them performing at Sly Fox Brewery’s 5th Annual Can Jam Festival on September 26th in Pottstown, PA, alongside Waylon Speed, Mason Porter, Matt Spitko, and Michael Tiernan.
