Philly attorneys will loosen up and rock Union Transfer for charity in first ever Law Rocks Philadelphia
Lawyers are uptight suits whose sole joy in life results from working long hours over stacks of paperwork, preparing for the next civil suit, right? Hardly. At Tuesday’s Law Rocks Philadelphia event at Union Transfer, stereotypes will be dispelled in the name of rock.
In the first of what may well become an annual event, three competing bands will take the stage in support of their respective law firms in an attempt to raise money for charity. The show, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will feature Alternative Dispute Revolution from the firm Blank Rome representing United Way; Ballad Spahr Galactica (gotta love that band name) from Ballad Spahr raising money for the Philadelphia Bar Foundation; and Cramdown, which features professionals from Community Legal Services and Philadelphia Legal Assistance.
