A Sunny Day in Glasgow began their shoegazing days right here in Philly back in 2006 and since have released four studio albums, six EPs and several singles along the way. Today, the band announced they will release a new double EP this fall via Mis Ojos Discos.

The double EP is titled Planning Weed Like It’s Acid/Life Is Loss and is a collection of songs written and recorded following their tour back in 2014 in support of their last album, Sea Went Absent. In a statement the band talked about how the album came about quickly and organically with little forethought and plenty of collaboration.

The EP’s first track to be released — which you can listen to below — is “Jet Black, Starlit”, and the band also promises a tour announcement in the coming months. Planning Weed is out on November 13th.
