Tickets to see the Philadelphia Orchestra can run well over $50, but on Tuesday night, the Orchestra is performing its annual free college concert for students. This much more budget-friendly program is open to anybody with a valid college ID, and is sure to be a night full of splendid music making.
The orchestra will be performing two pieces, Elgar’s Cello Concerto (performed by Johannes Moser) and Beethoven’s 8th Symphony. To top it off, White Limo, a Philly-based Foo Fighters tribute band (who even knew such a thing existed?), will be performing in the lobby after the show. What more could you possibly want? You can reserve your free tickets online here.
