Stream the new self-titled album from experimental trio Mohican

Philly post-rock experimental trio Mohican released their latest record earlier this week via Bandcamp. The eight tracks on this self-titled efford weave in instrumental post-rock influences like Explosions in the Sky with the grungy tone of Mogwai. Mohican creates visceral stories relying solely on distorted guitars, fuzz bass, and thick drums. The album is cleaner and better-crafted than Mohican’s previous work, and the band notes it was recorded on 2″ tape. Listen to the record below.
