“Back Together” is one of the many stand-out songs on Jill Scott’s recent album, Woman. The soaring ballad brings to mind “Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin, and Scott digs into it with her usual soulful finesse.

Scott, who recently won the first ever Lady of Soul award at this year’s Soul Train Awards, collaborated with the New York based Complexions Contemporary Ballet on the video for “Back Together.” With an exquisite string arrangement, touches of old school Stax-Volt horns, and Scott’s powerful vocals, watch it below.
