Last night, national booking agency Ground Control Touring celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with a mega-concert at Webster Hall featuring all kind of awesome people, from Hop Along to Screaming Females.

Situated firmly in the middle of the mainstage pack was Philadelphia’s Kurt Vile, who used the set to unleash two collaborative covers from the classic rock canon.

First was The Velvet Underground’s “Sister Ray,” performed with Kim Gordon and old friend Steve Gunn:
