Mike Pays Heat share new video for “Circuits”

Following last month’s “NNFS” single, Mike Pays Heat have premiered a new track and video over on Nothing Original. Like its predecessor, “Circuits” comes from the local indie rock band’s forthcoming Tape 1 Play debut.

With a swinging banjo, cricket sample and gang vocals “Circuits” is a gut-punch of a song centered on the lyric “When you sink and when you’re low you know you will resurface.” The video features artist Kelly Gillin-Schwartz drawing a tree, wonderfully complementing the organic simplicity of the song.
