Littler shouts down critics and naysayers in “Not My Market”
Philly’s Littler are a group not only trying to find their place within the Philly punk scene – they are also a group of individuals searching for what it means to grow up and come into your own. The first single off their upcoming album Of Wandering, “Somewhere Else” explored the idea of confusion in the face of maturity, and today Littler released their second single “Not My Market” which touches upon similar themes.
While “Somewhere Else” is about indecision and uncertainty, “Not My Market” is more about coming to terms with these decisions and letting those who have a problem with their choices that they simply don’t give a damn. From a musical standpoint “Not My Market” is a jam that starts off slow before becoming a catchy and anthemic rock song, ending — in similar fashion to “Somewhere” — with a instrumental flourish proving Littler can rock with the best.
You can listen to both “Somewhere Else” and “Not My Market” anyway below and see Littler at Everybody Hits on December 28.
