R5 Production’s semi-annual Punk Rock Flea Market brings out some of the best action figures, clothing and vinyl Philadelphians have to offer — but also some of the weirdest things you’ll ever see. After looking at what Philly had to sell this past summer, we headed back to the “Punk Rock Flea Market Dome” to check out what new crazy stuff is for sale this time.
16. Bananas In Pajamas Doll
Who else remembers bananas in pajamas?
15. Bull horns
This looks like something Hank Hill would keep above his fireplace.
14. Trippy Hunter S. Thompson art
Fear and Loathing at the Flea Market
13. Comic-covered skulls
You never know when you might need one of these.
12. Mini Rodney Dangerfield
Apparently nobody bought this from this past summer. Poor Rodney really doesn’t get any respect. 🙁
11. NASCAR Barbie
Know your demographics, Mattel. Know your demographics.
10. Elmo Handbag
Carry Elmo around with you everywhere you go! It’ll be fun! HE WILL SEE YOUR EVERY MOVE.
9. This creepy rat thing
I’ll apologize in advance for the nightmares you’re going to have tonight.
8. A shirt with soft pretzels doing the Can-Can
Anybody who reads this blog should own this shirt.
7. A Kansas City Brothel Inspector’s badge
How does one even get that job?
6. Rock and Roll Alf
TODAY’S MUSIC AIN’T GOT THE SAME SOUL / I LIKE THAT OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL
5. This outlandishly decorated bust of a mannequin
I suppose it would make a great wig holder?
4. Bottled animal body parts
I was too afraid to ask if these were real or not.
3. A fake severed leg
For when you need an extra hand around the house. Or leg.
2. A Saddam Hussein Ace of Spades
I wouldn’t take this on a plane.
1. Miniature ceramic bowls with halves of topless women waving their arms from the bottom
