Amanda X released a song on Christmas Day and we missed it

This one completely escaped us in the blur of holiday scrambling, but Philly rockers Amanda X released a sweet new song on Christmas day.

“New Year,” which you can listen to below, is a quick and drum-free tune reminiscent of The Softies and Belle & Sebastian. Over the course of a minute and 20, Cat Park and Kat Bean harmonize and deliver introverted contemplations like “sleeping until noon on a holiday is nice.” Totally agree with them there.
