Metric goes acoustic in a Vegas record store for the Spotify Sessions

Canadian alt-pop jauggernaut Metric released its sixth LP, Pagans in Vegas, last fall, and its headline tour in support of it brings it to The Fillmore Philadelphia on March 15th. This week the band released its Spotify Session – an acoustic set featuring frontwoman Emily Haines and guitarist Jimmy Shaw performing an acoustic set, fittingly enough, in Las Vegas music store 11th Street Records.

The set features three songs from Pagans – “The Governess,” “Lie Lie Lie” and “Cascades” – as well as a revisit of “Breathing Underwater” from 2012’s Synthetica. Listen to it below, and get tickets and more information on the band’s Fillmore show at the XPN Concert Calendar.
