Listen to the new Lake Street Dive album, Side Pony
Lake Street Dive are set to release their new album, Side Pony on February 19th. Named after a hairstyle, Side Pony musically builds on strengths of their last studio album, Bad Self Portraits, strengths rooted in R&B and soul, classic pop, a little blues, pure sheer musical fun, and lead singer Rachael Price’s powerhouse vocals.
Lake Street Dive met in 2004 as students at Boston’s New England Conservatory of Music. In addition to lead singer Rachael Price, the band includes bassist Bridget Kearney, guitarist and trumpeter Michael “McDuck” Olson, and Philly born drummer Michael Calabrese. WXPN Welcomes Lake Street Dive with The Suffers to The Fillmore on Friday, March 18th. Go to our Concert Calendar for tickets and more information about the show.
