Fans were lined up outside of the doors for today’s sold-out Free at Noon concert at World Cafe Live featuring the great Graham Nash. He made a stop in Philly for a two-night show along his tour.

As the crowd welcomed Nash and his guitarist Shane Fontayne, the duo opened up the show with “Bus Stop,” the 1966 single by the Hollies. The British singer-songwriter is still going strong, coming out with a new album titled This Path Tonight. Fontayne has joined Nash on tour just as he has in the past with Crosby, Stills & Nash previously.

Taking a break between songs, Nash told fans of the story which inspired his song “Immigration Man.” A mix of chuckles and cheers came from the crowd as Nash started to play. Throughout the set, He played incorporated some fan-favorites as well as new material off of his new album.

While Nash has dabbled in other things outside of music, including photography and a couple books, his music talent still sets him apart from the rest. The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist continues to write music with strong guitar solos and lyrics that tell stories. While he wrote the song “Back Home” for his late friend Levon Helm, Nash announced to the fans he was devoting the song to Bowie, Lemmy and others who have recently passed. However, it was the last song of the set which made the crowd go wild. After honoring all of the teachers out there, the duo started playing “Teach Your Children,” and the crowd joined in on singing, others taking photos and videos.

Nash’s album This Path Tonight will be available to buy April 15, 2016. Watch the Free at Noon in its entirety below, via VuHaus, and check out a photo gallery from the show.
