New Music Show Preview: The Kills, Yeasayer & much more!

We’re getting ready to take over the airwaves again this Monday night with stacks and stacks of new music to share! Here are just a few of the things we’re excited to play for you.

“Doing It To Death” by THE KILLS

The duo of Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince return with the dark and menacing “Doing It To Death”. Ash & Ice is a new album from The Kills due out this June.  Be prepared to be transfixed by their new tune that benefits from a pretty kickass video too:

“Silly Me” by YEASAYER

We love these guys. Having been at it for almost a decade, the band’s new album Amen & Goodbye is coming out in less than a month.  They floated out the song “I Am Chemistry” as a little teaser a few weeks back, but perhaps the catchiest song they’ve ever written comes in the shape of “Silly Me”.  It’s an instant favorite!

First Impression Artist: MARGARET GLASPY

Every week on the show we like to spotlight a brand new artist and play you a couple songs. This week, our “First Impression” artist is the recent ATO Records signee MARGARET GLASPY.  Originally from California  and now based in NY, Glaspy delivers a solid songwriting punch with the first single from her debut; a song called “You & I”.  More to come on the album Emotions and Math due out June 17th – we’ll dig in on this week’s show!
