Watch Jeff Riddle and the Bella Vista Social Club’s video for “Destroy”
Punk balladeer Jeff Riddle and his new band, the Bella Vista Social Club, just released their debut album (which we premiered here at The Key) back in February, and they recently shared a video for the title track, “Destroy.”
The video, which was directed by Craig Scheihing, is a black and white art film depicting a paper version of Riddle falling into an abyss of broken glass and what seems to be flower petals. It also cuts to various scenes of water, city scapes, and dead trees. The video reflects the Neutral Milk Hotel-influenced song’s themes of yearning, drug addiction, and regret.
Destroy by Jeff Riddle & The Bella Vista Social Club is out now. To listen to or purchase the record, follow the link here.
