The Original Crooks and Nannies get haircuts, rock out in “Carry Me” video
Local indie pop duo The Original Crooks and Nannies shared a video for their new song “Carry Me” ahead of tomorrow’s Ugly Laugh LP release. The clip shows bandmates Madeline Rafter and Sam Huntington getting some quick haircuts while wearing matching outfits and Chuck Taylors.
The song is bright and poppy with roots in 80s synth pop, and the video is an endearing look at a band that knows how to have fun while doing something they love. Hat tip to Philebrity for turning us on to this day-making track.
The Original Crooks and Nannies play a release show with Little Strike, Microsoft Saint and Venus in Scorpio at Barbie Dream House in West Philly tonight; more information can be found here. Watch “Carry Me” below.
