Josh Ritter helped Mountain Stage celebrate its 32nd birthday over the weekend with a solo performance down in Charleston, WV. The Idaho native has appeared on the live music program many times before, beginning in 2003. This time Ritter was supporting last year’s Sermon on the Rocks LP, though he also dug into some unreleased songs and did a cover of Roger Miller’s “Engine Engine #9.”
